RAID issues

Hi folks

Had a bit of a niggle a sec ago, RAID 0 volume wasnt showing up, opened up diskmgmt and it showed one of them as "Failed".

So I restart the PC to see what the BIOS says, and it shows in there as normal. Loaded up windows and suprrisingly, it seemed to work again as normal.

Is this the sign of a drive on its way out? Theres nothing of value on this volume, I just want to be aware in case I should order a new HDD.

No, I would think more likely a temporary software/driver error...

Assuming you are using the Intel ICHx(R) controller, maybe install latest Intel Rapid Storage Tech software...

If a disk hadn't spun up in time to join the array this can happen.
