RAID on Gigabyte P35 DS4 Question....

Hi,
Going to build my new Q6600 system soon on a Gig P35 DS4 board. Is it worth running a RAID 0 setup for increased perfornance and storage do you think or is the performance differencial negligible? It Would also cost another £60 for a second 500Gig WD AAKS. I will be running vista ultimate.

Opinions much appreciated.

For home users, RAID 0 has hardly any performance benefits and halves your mean time to failure:
