Raid or spanning?

Hi

I have a single Raptor 75Gb as the C: drive, which I'm happy with.

I also have 4 x 250 Gb drives, which I've attached to sata ports 3-6 on my mobo.

The question is, should i use the on board raid, or just drive spanning in vista?

I am not too worried about data loss, as it will be backed up every day, both to a local storage array, and to an online service called Mozy. Ideally, Mozy would backup a network drive, but it doesn't.

RAID 0 all the way! With disk spanning, its just that - think of it as like an overflow car park. When one drive gets full, data is written to the others. With RAID 0, data is written/read to all drives simultaneously
