Raid Question M.2

The 2 M.2's i have no my board run at gen3 and gen2(no the chipset), is it still possible to run them in RAID i know it will be at gen 2 speeds but will it work.

Reason about 2 months ago i got a 2tb NVME drive on offer, and a matching drive is on offer again today.

Motherboard: B450m Mortar MAX
