Raid question!

Hi all,


I have just purchased a Dell Vostro workstation for the office. I have ordered an additional HDD so I can RAID 1 them.

The question is......

As the HDD will not arrive until tomorrow can I continue to install software, updates etc and add the drive later or will I need to do a fresh Windows install.

You will need to do a fresh install IIRC the raid controller deletes the partition table when it intializes the array
