Hi all
I have a Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4L with two drives in Raid 0. As far as I understand, there are two (help me on the terminology here!) SATA interfaces, each with two channels. This manifests as a pair two pairs of sockets on the mobo. At the moment, both drives are connected to one pair of sockets.
Nvidia storage panel shows the drives being on SATA 1.0 and 1.1.
Is this optimal, or should the drives be connected differently?
And on a related note, I'm contemplating a third physical drive for pagefile. Which connector should that go on!?
I'm assuming I'm better putting page file on a small additional drive, outside the RAID... (raptor 36gig anyone?)
