would it be a wise idea to use 2x 500gb hard drives in raid o as a boot drive. i no raid o is not good for storage and such but the things ill have on it would only be windows and other crap that i cant be bothered to move from desktop and it would all be backed up.

I used to run RAID 0 for my main boot drive and data, had a reasonable backup plan so did not worry me.

The other option is use the drives for backup / data and buy a SSD

i think im going to go through with my plan and hope nothing goes wrong.

If i had the funds to do that, it would be already done
