I'm running a Raid0 on a DS3 mobo and cannot get any version of ghost or acronis to see the drive and therefor cannot create an image.

Anyone had/fixed this problem?

Cheers!

I've no problems with Acronis seeing my RAID in Windows.

It's trying to get the rescue cd to find it that I've problems with. I can't find anywhere to load the RAID drivers after booting from the cd.

I have a DS4, Acronis sees the array in Windows fine, but when booting from the boot cd it wouldn't see the array. Until I tried entering safe mode instead of full mode and it sees it fine. Wierd - I thought safe mode would omit raid/scsi drivers.

I'll have to try that.

Is this with nVidia RAID? Ive been reading a manual on RAID setups and it has a troubleshoot guide on using Ghost with RAIDS, I cant copy and paste from Acrobat so ill have to type it myself, so I hope it works!

Basically it 1st says that Ghost accesses the hardware location directly, so it skips all the RAID enchancements provided by BIOS, so you have to configure Ghost to talk to BIOS instead of going straight to the HD's.

Firstly disable Ghost Direct Disc Access and force it to rely on Extended Interupt 13h, might be written as INT13, then disable direct IDE/ASPI and SCSI access support, accept all the changes and then run Ghost as normal, and hopefully it will work.

Myself ive never used Ghost so dont know what its like and what options it carries, I mention this because the above is supposed to be done in DOS, and ive never been to DOS since Windows95 and dont even know how to get to DOS on newer O/S.

But anyway if this is a help to anyone post here, i'd like to know, ive not had anyone benefit from what I know yet :)
