RAID1 Not Showing

Hi All

I have recently decided to install a raid configuration to my PC.

I have been in the bios and changed the setting to RAID and then setup the configuration in next screens. However it will not show in computer management and I am a little confused.

Motherboard is a Gigabyte Technology X58A-UD3R.

Any help would be greatly a appreciated.

Raid1 so two identical discs set up in the bios? these should show as a single volume in windows (which version?).
You will of course need to format and initialize just like any new disk. a few screenshots of your bios and windows computer mgmt -- storage would be helpful ...

If you install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver you can set it up in Windows once your SATA ports are set to Raid is set in Bios but do the above in case something is wrong.

Have you created a partition on the raid drives and assigned a drive letter through disk management?
