Dannyjo your a Vegas freak like me, honestly how are you finding this compared to Vegas1? Mine won't be getting shipped until sometime next week, and I'm close to cancelling it going off what I'm reading about it...
Graphically it's either not quite as good as the last or other games have spoilt us slightly. I'm now 4 levels in and I have yet to have any slowdown although I'm sure I will get some at some point.
I've read that using smokes it was cause of slowdown but I never use them or grenades so that's likely why I dont see any.
Very very minimal tearing. Its come to my attention once or twice in the hours I've been playing.
Anyone that says the Team AI is rubbish or worse than the last one is a totally jessie that should give up gaming and start gardening.
The AI on realistic level is 5 times better than the last and I never really had a problem with the last one. The black guy on occasions has gotten snagged up. Walk up to him select hold then follow me and I've free'd him up every time.
In 4 levels on realistic I've had to pick both the guys up of the deck injured probably twice. Bring up the tac map find cover send then there and pick off the stragglers. I've died 10 times the number ot times the AI has.
Big open levels the AI will still try to flank you. One minor annoyance is send then forward too far and you wont get any enemies til you hit the trigger point. Its happened to me once, not hard to compensate for. Push them forward two places and bring up the rear.
Realistic Snipers are a bit too good. Sometimes I have to sacrafice my men to get a shot off.
Online I have not had much chance to play yet due my internet going ****.
Naturally this game isn't for everyone, it's slower and tactical. You sometimes need to try a few routes to find the best shooting positions.
This game was always going to be more of the same though I agree matchmaking needs improving but then it does on just about every 360 game COD included.
People seem to think these games have to be in direct competition with each other. They are completely different types of shooter. I like both and both have a place in my collection depending on mood.
I do laugh when people say it's more of the same. Well if you bought the game and didn't realise that before you parted with your money you shouldn't be in charge of your own finances.
I didnt like mass effect, mass effect 2 will essentially be an add on. It wont be a complete re-design and the combat will still such monkey nuts. Will I buy it after hating the first?
Not a chance.
This game is not COD, it's not trying to be. Anyway Star Wars Battlefront 3 will kick CODs backside anyway
If you liked playing the SP in Vegas 1 there isn't a lot to dislike in 2. I like the Aces system of levelling up.
