I've just started it on realistic. Doubt I'll finish it this year (or next :p).

Only dantes has really bust my balls. Its not that some sections are particularly tough, more than unlike other levels you have to do 2 big sections before it checkpoints.

Once I hit the trigger while laying the controller on my lap while hearing a hostage talk and my gun went off and shot the hostage. Had to re-do a huge section. I had to dig real deep to find some inner peace for half hour or so.

im thinking of getting this game.

What does it have to offer compared with gow which i really enjoyed

Better mutliplayer, better single player, better choice and balance of weapons, more challenging, arguable better/equal graphics - oh and again better multiplayer

/edit

better storyline, better atmosphere

Agree with it all except gfx especially in MP. Its also pretty much impossible to die in GOW when shooting from cover. You pop up go a bit red then duck for 5 seconds. You can't do that in R6 thankfully. A good headshot will kill you outright and if you get pinged you can't see too good.

I hated that in the demo but now see why it's a good feature.

I want a vision Camera now!

Imagine seeing this run around!

Just finished this, so disappointed about the ending, was so typical though!

:(

Didnt the same kind of ending happen in GRAW?

Got this game today, have i made a mistake on starting on realistic?

I played GoW through on casual and thought it was hard. :p

Started to like this game online now, it has it's issues but the new patch for GoW totally put me off it.

Good Single Player on the game also, shame the graphics aren't the same for Single and Multi though.

Crikey guess i was wrong about realistic being easy lol:p, bloody hell Dantes has had me pulling my hair out for most of this week and last week. Ive more or less blasted my way through the other levels but damn this dantes level...especially the part where you have to save Gabe...i swear i really want to kill my 2 partners..talk about being absolutely useless...they dont seem to listen when i tell them to pull back so i can chuck a grenade and they seem to just sit there and do nothing while getting shot at...lol..pathetic...got to the point last night after a few hrs of playing that i was so ****** off i ended up killing the both of them myself :p.

Anyways managed to get past that part and then onto the construction yard...which wasnt too bad. Now im in the theatre bit and its narking me right off....damn those tangos seem to have a new brain on realistic...keep getting caught out with them throwing grenades and flash bangs. And getting hit on realistic seems to affect your vision a lot more than it did on normal level. Takes longer to recuperate and sometimes thats not a good thing as you can get caught out by a tango as your trying to get your vision back....

God this has to be the toughest 100 points ive ever had the displeasure of trying to attain lol...but still loving the game...seems to be the only game im playing these days. MP is great fun though, have a great laugh with my bro in Canada and his mates...

Still a fantastic game and i cant wait for the next installement tbh. Btw i plugged Gabe in the head at one point cos i know hes a bit of a moron at the end so thought i might as well kill the ******* hehe.

I found protecting gabe really easy, dan had trouble too - i just went forwar dand left a bit and hit behind the arcade and spammed there faces with bullets as they came in :)

Worked first, and second time (first time i did a bit furhter on as i just stroller through the bit down the stairs and got pummelled by a mounted gun)

I got the cam and it couldn't get a likeness of me...the head it pastes you face onto is just a roundish blob. Disappointing!

Yeah, I agree Danté's difficulty is overstated, I had more difficulty with the levels before and after.

Hmmm i just stayed behind one of the arcade machines and popped out every so often and got a few...let Jung and Mike take most of the tangos on tho..although it meant i spent most of my time reviving them...what sucks is that they cant revive me and neither can they throw grenades when you need them to.

What i did find is that a few times i re-started the level because either i got killed or one of my guys got killed...i found the AI on the tangos were getting a bit more smarter and also found a few times that after getting rid of the first wave of tangos...it would go quiet ie no tangos would come in...so looks like a bug there as well. Caused me to re-start that level a few times.

I dunno, its def the hardest of the game, but that specific bit was ok, protecting the computer in the theatre was the hardest bit for me.

/edit

I still think its funny you thought it "was" easy at one point on Realistic :D

Yeh well it looks like i was playing on normal when i thought it was realistic lol...now i know why...on realistic the cross hairs dont go red when you point at a tango but on normal it does. Plsu the AI on the tangos are a lot more smarter than on normal...good fun realistic is but so damn fustrating..could have smashed my controller a few times last night...:p

I started it on Realistic, its a challenge, but if you found Casual Hard - id start again, casual is a walk in the park

I've got this game, as with all rainbow 6 games on the previous xbox i am very impressed, only i cant figure out how i can zoom in and lean lef and right :s can you on vegas?

Im loving this game. Im only on the Spire Mission on normal so far, not looking forward to realistic though as Im struggling enough as it is.

I have turned it off in frustration a few times already, simply because you spend 10 mins clearing out about 20 enemies, only to get shot in the face by one guy you didn't notice.

Awesome game though, prefer it to GoW.
