Think i remember reading somewhere (possibly on here) that having 4 sticks of ram can cause problems on certain motherboards when overclocking core 2's. If thats true is there any paticular ram or mobo's that are affected by it?

At the minute ive 2 gigs of OCZ PC2-8500 1066MHz on as asus p5k mobo, was considering getting another 2 gigs.

Quite often mobos overclock less when all 4 ram slots are filled. Also each stick will have a different max overclock so you will only be able to oc your ram to the highest speed your worst overclocking stick can handle.

You might not even notice any difference going from 2GB to 4. Its Overkill IMO.
