RAM compatability

hello I want to add 4 more gig of ram to my system.. this is currently 4 gig I have installed CMX6GX3M3A1600C9
so what I was wondering is what are my options in buying other ram that I can use with current ram and what part of this code is most important...

my MB is asus p8z68v pro
580 gtx i5 2500k
ram = corsair xms3

I bought it with a i5 bundle...the motherboard died though was p8p67 pro about 2 years ago I think..
