Ram Dilemma

Hi all. It's been a long time since i upgraded my RAM and I'm a bit clueless on how they will work/fail. I'm using an Asus M3A78-EM motherboard and the question is if i should get 1066mhz ram or 800mhz. I was going for the 1066mhz but in the manual it states that 1066mhz is supported only by AM2+ CPU because of some limitation they have. So what should i do? I'm a bit scared to buy ram that my Phenom 3x Core will mess about so i'm considering the Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz Dual Channel. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.
