Ram Heatsinks - do we need them...

Ive heard the exact same thing. Other thing to bear in mind is how are ram spreaders going to help cool the heatsinks. There is only atimy gap between the actual chips so surface area is hardly increased. Actual ram sinks that stick onto each individual chip would help cool due to the much larger surface area but then most of the time you can only run one ram stick due to the size of the things. I just set a 80mm fan above the ram blowing onto them.
