RAM help

afternoon,

Need some advice on adding more ram to my desktop. It's about 8 years old running the below

Intel Core I5 750 @ 2.6hz processor
GA P55M UD2 motherboard
TW3X4G1600C9D Corsair Ram (4gb) DDR 3

I have tired looking online for the current ram I have but only really seeing them on eBay. Are there current day ones which would work comfortably with my current system?

I have different branded and different speed RAM in my PC and they work without any issues. So you should be fine if you can't get hold of the exact one. Trying getting RAM that has similar speed, timings and voltage to what you currently have. If you get slower speed RAM i.e. 1333MHz, your faster RAM will run slower at 1333MHz.

Or just chuck what you have and buy a fresh 8gb pair
