So I have some spare cash this month and I'm considering replacing my ram for something quicker.

Now I have no issues with what I have and my Ryzen CPU seems okay with it, I have noticed improvement massively since swapping from my old 7600k but I do wonder would quicker ram be even better

It's 2400 speed which is slow for DDR4, what speed would be be an ideal upgrade for my 3600 CPU? Would I also notice an improvement if I swapped it?

Board I got is in sig, it was originally gonna be the tomahawk max but I got a far better deal with the Asus board.

I see people mention b die etc in here and tbh I never have a clue why that matters or why it's sought after.

3600mhz CL16 is optimal for ryzen 3000 and should give you a decent boost especially if you game at 1080p you could also try boosting your infinity fabric to 1800 and going 2-1 with your current ram which should also boost performance and overcome any latency penalty.

Samsung B-die can run at tighter timings than other makes but it would be hard to notice the performance gain in real life usage, micron E offer a better price/performance almost matching B-die for a fair bit cheaper.

Samsung B-die 3600/16

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £158.69 (includes shipping: £8.70)

Some cheaper crucial ballistix micron E die also 3600/16 which can be had for £95

Not sure how much you have to spend but if your after fps then putting that towards a better Gpu will almost always net higher fps/£ than ram.

That one is a slightly lower spec and would need manually overclocking to reach 3600/16 which is fairly easy to do with the ryzen dram calculator.

If you just wanted to set xmp and be done then OCUK have these options within your budget although they have loser timings than the other kit I suggested.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £217.68 (includes shipping: £8.70)

If you google the part number BL2K8G36C16U4BL you should be able to find the one I suggested although unfortunately OCUK don't stock it.

If you don't mind a bit of tinkering (using Ryzen DRAM Calculator) then these are still on offer, I'm currently running these myself and just waiting on another set to be delivered for 32GB:

My board allows them to be run at full speed and the PC feels super snappy. When I ran the memory at default whilst I just installed my driver's etc (2400MHz) it was noticeably slower than when I enabled XMP (4133MHz).

I noticed the same thing when I also used 3600MHz C16 RAM, Ryzen CPUs just eat up the extra RAM speed, so I would say it's well worth it :)
