at home, you?
to start off im running kingston hyperx blu 1600mhz
had a random bsod about half an hour ago, so i ran the windows memory diagnostic tool, and it flagged up with this

then restarted and was given this screen

checked cpuz and it reports my dram frequency as 802.4 mhz
i am overclocked to 4.3, but the frequency looked right to me, a few mhz over, but would that be causing this issue, or is it faulty ram?

my ram timings seem to be wrong according to cpuz

Looser timings shouldn't cause an issue.

What DRAM voltage are you using?

Too high can cause problems.

Too low can cause problems.

If you're at the low end (around 1.50V) bump the voltage up. Try 1.55V and increase it if necessary. Ideally no higher than 1.60V.

If you're at the high end (around 1.65V) lower it. Try 1.55V and increase it if necessary. Ideally no higher than 1.60V.

Also make sure the Command Rate is 2T/2N for stability.

You could just also have faulty RAM.

so the windows own mem test is ok to use? i know people use a different one

(edit) just ran the windows own one and it came back with no errors now
