I bought a motherboard bundle which came with 512mb ram installed and tested.
I also bought an extra 1Gig of ram to go with it.
now, the pc boots up fine with just the 512mb stick on the m/b
and it boots up fine with just the 1024mb stick on the m/b
but when they're both in, the boot process halts at the "verifying pool data...... Success" stage.
advice please, should i just sell the 512mb on and stick with the gig?
or how can i get both of them to work?
i've tried them in alternate slots and they don't work full stop when installed together.
