RAM OC Issues

Hey guys.

Finally upgraded my 2GB to the magic 4GB, but I'm having problems getting my OC to run how I want it...

I can keep my CPU running at 4GHz stable, but the ram has to be dropped down to 890mhz from 1068mhz I was running my 2GB set at

Along with this I've had to loosen up the timings a bit from 5-5-5-15 to 6-7-7-20...

Basically, I just want to know if I'll notice any difference between the 1068mhz and the 890mhz speed - would you think I would notice any lag? (I haven't so far)

I seem to have cold-boot issues with this ram too... yesterday, I said it was running and stable, but this morning I switched it on and it came on, went off, then came on again with bios back at stock/auto settings

Would I be better off lowering my CPU overclock and trying to get the RAM to run at 1066@5-5-5-15 or would the 4.0GHz cpu counteract the slight dip in ram speed?

I'm only going on because if there's no major difference then I spent the extra getting 4GB of DDR2-1066 but it might as well have been DDR2-800 for half the price!!!

Which would make me a very sad bear lol
