basically im on 425 fsb x 9 with q6600(3.825ghz) and ram is on 425 mhz 1:1 2.0 v 5-5-5-15 T2

im using this ram 4 gigs of it its cooled with ocz xtc so in theory it should handle
some overcloking

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-093-CR

when i upped ram to 533 mhz pc give black screen of death increased voltage to 2.28 still the same.

i managed to boot with 510 5-5-5-15 T2 5:6 but its not stable i think

im not really good at overcloking ram any help would be nice

ty for help

edit: well got them running at 425mhz x2 = 850 at 4-4-4-12 t2 is this any good ?

is there any program to see if they stable ?

I'd like some info on this too.

I got the RAM listed in my sig. At 1:1, it will not go past 832mhz. I can put any voltage in and relax the timings to anything, no matter, get the black screen at POST forcing me to hard reset, then get 'overclock failed!'

This means my FSB is capped at 416mhz. Anyone who knows my motherboard will know how absurd that is lol. I've read my RAM go upto and past 900mhz, in fact i pushed it myself to 1050mhz+, but this is at a different ratio and i assume it is for others too, but doesn't matter, the overhead means that extra speed wouldn't be used, hence perhaps why it works. Therefore, could it be a bottleneck in the northbridge?

Oh sorry to hijack your thread mate, but yours is the similar problem as mine and i can't find ANY info whatsoever on it :D

Which motherboard? Give the northbridge (MCH) voltage a nudge for 4 sticks.
