RAM problem

Ok so here's the deal...

I know this question has been asked oh so many times on this board since I've been through all the pages in this section to find a solution to this problem, but nothing seems to work.

It's the thing where the RAM isn't running it's full potential. Mine is currently running at 800mhz when it's supposed to be at 1066. Now I've tried a few things to get this to work; like giving it more voltage (I've tried between 1.8 - 2.3) and maybe adding timings (not sure if that would work), but nothing shifts it. I'm not sure if it's common on most boards, but my BIOS doesn't have specific RAM settings. The only thing I can change is the CPU - which does increase the DRAM speed, but also overclocks the CPU, which I don't really want to do for the time being. I just want everything running at it's normal potential.

Here's the things that are in my system;

And here are some pics from my BIOS, plus CPUZ.

Maybe it's the CPU multiplier or something? Sorry, but I don't know much about this kinda stuff yet. =P

Any help would be greatly appreciated. =)

It should be the "DRAM Speed (CPU : DRAM) setting you need to change.

If you change that to DDR2-1066MHz it should bump the RAM up to run at 1066MHz.

This will affect the overclock though, as you're changing the CPU:RAM ratio. You might need to drop the multiplier or FSB to compensate for this (or have a higher overclock :p).

I don't have a calculator handy (and my mental arithmetic isn't up to scratch) to work out what the new overclock would be with the altered ratio.

To be honest, I don't really understand much of what you said. =(
Like I said before; I don't really know much about this kinda stuff right now...

But here's another screeny from my BIOS. As you can see - I can't select a higher speed for my RAM, the highest is 800. I can't put in a specific number for it, just ratio it with the FSB.
Is my RAM limited by my CPU...? =/

Edit: I think I may have grasped what you meant. I'll go tinker with it to see if anything changes...

Edit 2: I've tried changing a few things around and I've come up with this...

Now the first time I tried it at this settings the system froze and a very loud squealing noise came from my headset (Thank god I didn't have them on... -.-). And after that I tried upping the volts to my CPU. I'm not sure if that would work, but I guess I'll soon find out. =P

Would you guys say that everything is OK with that? Has my CPU been overclocked at all? I see same speeds, but a faster FSB. Is that OK?
