My question is, would this be Ivy bridge compatible? It may be a stupid question, but at the speed of me building the last parts of my pc, ivy bridge will be out lol.

It does fit that board, but adding a large aftermarket heatsink will be difficult.

Thanks, I already have that Asus motherboard from OC my pc is half built atm. I read reviews about the size of the RAM sticks, which shouldn't be too much of a problem as I am getting a heatsink that is kinda sideways.
