Okay, so I'm totally confused by RAM.
I understand timing matters. C14, C15, C16.
C14 is best.
Then the type of die.. Samsung is best. B-Die.
Then frequency, higher is better but you need a motherboard and CPU which can match it.
So if I have an 8086k, and I'm not hugely into overclocking components to the maximum, which RAM would be best if I'm trying to be sensible with money?
I've seen CL14/3200mhz RAM is £220, almost £80 more than the equivalent CL16 RAM. Is this really worth the money for performance in VR gaming and 4k gaming?
Any help MCUH appreciated as I'm confused as to what to get at present.
Would something like this be ideal?
