Sorry for the nooby question but im a bit confused with my cpuz results

my bios is saying my memory is running at just under 1600 but cpuz indicates each module running at 800 and in triple mode so wouldnt that be 2400?
the nb fequency is 3200 and fsb:dram is 2:8

spec is i7 @3800
x58 sabretooth
6g ocz3g1600lv2g

thanks for any help clearing this up

so even for triple channel ddr3 you double it and not triple it?

RAM speed and dual or triple channel are completely different things.

The number of channels has nothing to do with the speed of the RAM.

If CPU-Z says 800MHz then you have to double that to 1600MHz as it's DDR (Double Data Rate) RAM.

It would still be 1600MHz whether it was single, double or triple channel.

So you have triple channel running at 1600MHz.
