Ok, Got Asus P5KC mobo + E6850 CPU + Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz

I've set the timings to 4-4-4-12 and ram voltage to 2.2 as specified.

Now CPU-Z says the Ratio FSB:RAM is 5:6, could someone explain fully how this is calculated please. Though If i do overclock it, will have to put the ram timings back?

stock FSB is 333 (its an Exx50 chip), so 5:6 gives 400Mhz, or DDR2 800.

If you overclock you can either drop the ratio to 1:1 and get a FSB of up to 400 without OCing the ram (using same timings and voltages), or OC the ram and see how far it can go, 533Mhz/DDR2 1066 should be pretty easy on 5-5-5-15 2.2v, which gives you a lot of options with regards to OCing that CPU.

if you intend to overclock using that board leave the timings on auto once you've got a happy cpu then play with the ram.

If I remember correctly it almost gives a minimum ram setting (which u have) once you start clocking the memory it will change to 1:1 in cpuz

ah so to calculate the divider, you take the number of the difference between the FSB and ram frequency - in this case 66mhz, then divide that number into your fsb and ram frequency to get your divider?
