Ram upgrade

Unless you are doing lots of work concurrently [image editing, video encoding, multiple web browsing sessions] or game a lot I doubt you'd notice it very often.

IE if you just do internet and email then it's a bit pointless. Have you checked your task manager to see how much RAM you actually use?

Mind you, ram is cheap - and I have two of those 4gb kits in my mobo, they do look very pretty...
 
i play a lot of games on it
fc2,oblivion.cod4/5,saints row 2 fallout 3 etc
does ti make a difference atall that they are different manufacture from my current ones.
Ive got my pc overclocked atm to 3ghz and i heard that its less stable with 4 sticks compared to 2?
 
4gb + 64bit os is gonna cost ~£100

Upgrading to 4gb is gonna cost £20

For the sake of 0.6GB of ram not being recognised, I'd take the £80
