Here is the list of supported memory modules for your motherboard:

http://asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=0AvsBb7WBZe2i9zK&templete=2

I had a quick look at the document at the following G.Skill RAM is supported:

G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-2GBNQ DDR3 1600 2048MB(Kit of 2) SS N/A Heat-Sink Package 9-9-9-24 1.5V~1.6V

G.SKILL F3-12800CL8T-6GBHK DDR3 1600 2048MB DS N/A Heat-Sink Package 8-8-8-21 1.6~1.65

G.SKILL F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ DDR3 1600 6144MB(Kit of 3) DS N/A Heat-Sink Package 9-9-9-24 1.5V~1.6V

There is similar G.Skill RAM on OcUK:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-041-GS

It has the code F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL and is supposed to work with AMD chipsets:

However only the following Asus motherboards have been tested:

ASUS M4A79T Deluxe
ASUS M4A79X TD EVO
ASUS M4A78T-E
ASUS M4A785T-M
ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO
ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO

so out of these two which would u go for if it was for u?

G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL) [F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL]

or

Geil Value 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C7 1333MHz Dual Channel (GV34GB1333C7DC) [GV34GB1333C7DC]

If you want maximum compatibility the Geil has been tested with your motherboard and will work. OTH,the G.Skill may prove more useful if you are overclocking although 1333MHZ at low latencies is better than 1600MHZ at higher latencies for a Phenom II at stock speeds.

i wouldnt know how to do that tho, my brother changed the setting in bios for me, is ther anyone i can talk to over the phone who could walk me through it?
