Rampage Formula, SupremeFX II + 6870 possible?

Is it possible to squeeze a HIS ATI Radeon HD 6870 ICEQ X TURBO onto this board if you use the Supreme FX II sound card?

The problem is that in order to use the Supreme FX card you have to place it in the bottom slot or you get no sound if you move to the other slot, this leaves very little room between it and my current card, the 4870.

I always placed the supreme XF card in the black top slot,seem to remember doing this with every ROG board i've owned (P35,P45,X38,X48 & X58).

You're right, I meant top. I have a killer 2100 card in bottom, so same issue.

Yes it will fit.

Supreme FX II sound card in the top black x1 PCI-E slot.

HD 6970 in the first blue x16 PCI-E slot.

The first white x1 PCI-E slot is blocked by the graphics card.

Killer 2100 NIC in the second x1 PCI-E slot or even the second blue x16 slot allowing more breathing room for the graphics card.

In that case:

Yes it will fit.

Reading the post it's hard to say if he's replacing the 4870 with the 6870 or using both?

Either way it will all fit.

Replacing the 4870 with the 6870, sorry for the confusion.

Both take up 2 slots but I noticed one of the 6870's might have looked a little larger, but i've since seen another photo of it and it should be fine. It was just the heat pipe thingies poking out the top.
