Random 3D printing chatter

For those with a Bambu P1S, can the AMS be moved when you need to open it? The reason I ask because I probably have room to sit the AMS on the top of my P1S but won't have the room to open the lid fully.

There’s a printable arm that allows you to lift the AMS up on the P2S I’ve been looking at. I’m guessing there’s probably one for the P1S as well

Where are the wind spinners from? do you have a link?

That's where I got most of mine from. I did the modular one first and did five levels plus the wind direction at the top. The neighbours say it's hypnotic because you really have to concentrate to notice each layer spinnning in the opposite direction to the one above and below it. The cups that were designed for it take ages to print though and are really heavy. If you look at the remix someone redesigned the cups so they are lighter and don't take as long to print and uses a lot less material but are still strong. You need the remix bearing holders as well because the end of the cups that plug into them are different. The remixed cups spin with very little wind and look great. The holders that come with the original are excellent and work very well. I used PETG for mine and got a bargain on Amazon for 10x 1m lengths of threaded rod for just £11.

Thanks! I'm always amazed at what people can design. I'd love to have more time to learn and be able to make more from scratch
