My graphic card run very well untiull I turn the PC off. Then each time it starts, there is a random chances that I get it to the "normal" Windows. Usually it just shows up a lightened blur empty screen. What is wrong.

The card is Wildcat, an workstation one and it seems to be able to do a lot with screen setting. Does it has any thing to do with the current problem.

It just happened to me to see other post in this forum and people mention about using driver cleaner. I never use it so how much can this type of left over can affect the new hardware.

Thanks.

You mentioned Drivercleaner, and that's usually the first thing you should do when your graphics card is acting odd as leftover graphics drivers and orphaned registry entries from previous hardware can cause no end of problems.

I would uninstall the Wildcat drivers, run drivercleaner for any ATI, Nvidia and Wildcat drivers, then reinstall the Wildcat drivers. If there's any problems involving drivers then that will make a world of difference, but it could be anything to be honest.

I'm sure you'll get tons more advice here anyway. :)

I use driver cleaner and the PC boot up correctly. I thought I have the answer but then next morning when I start the PC again, it shows the same symptom and I ahve to try restart the PC for about 5 times until when I got the normal screen.
