Well i think ive sourced the problem, i have run Memtest (windows desktop version) and got errors. Went back to the manufacturers website and put everything to what they advise, Ram speeds this is. Reset to stock speeds and Memtest is now ok. But still getting errors like page fault in none paged area, Driver irql not less or equal.... all pointing to ram. Put on asus probe, and pretty much all my rails are BELOW. Checked with speed fan:

Vcore1: 1.42V
Vcore2: 0.00v
+3.3v: 3.26v
+5v: 5.03v
+12v: 12.03, was 11.97 before
-12v: -1.25V
-5v: -8.78v
+5v: 5.11v
vbat: 3.06v

PSU is enermax noisetaker II 600W are these voltages ok? Is this my problem? I have had a few powerstrikes recently, but im on a £120 surge protector and clean power filter From Monster.

Speedfan hasnt been accurate for a while.

The bios is generally gives the closest readings.

seems to be 11.97v at load, prime95 1 instance, and memtest 1 instance, 3.27v on load. I'll try in game see what happens, im sure the other rails will drop also, im sure its supposed to be above the stated figure. :(

well it seems after monitoring it the voltages on the 12v alone dropped to below 11.8v under load. Ill monitor the other voltages too, see what happens.

edit: 3.3v drops to 3.2v, would it be safe to say i need a new Psu?

No thats fine, my 12v line is at 11.9 or so, and i'm running multiple hdd's etc without a problem.

Like i said its how far it strays from rated figures that matters more, if you 12v rail for example was 11.3 or so, then i'd started worrying.

If you suspect the PSU, then remove any extra drives and devices you don't need to run the PC and see if theres any improvement.

PSU's are not really my area, but i wouldnt say your PSU figures are out, taking into account speedfan incorrectly reads the rails.

A 0.1 or 0.2 variance shouldnt be anything to worry about.

Speedfan shows mine as follows.

Vcore: 1.49V
+12V: 12.71V
3.3V: 1.54V
Vcc: 4.99V
Vin2: 0.00V
5Vsb: 5.04V
Vbat: 0.00V

Which i know are wrong for a fact, if my 3.3V line was 1.52 (as its just changed to) i very much doubt i'd be sat in windows playing music, checking emails, browsing and whatever else i happen to open.

+12V is wrong to, last version of speedfan showed me at 11.9 or so, now i've suddenly jumped up 0.8V since a version change..... :?

see mine sits at idle at 12.03v, ive sent an email to enermax, with screenies, they gave me an instant RMA number! :)

check this, havent crashed yet today, but look at this:
Voltage12.jpg

doesnt stay much over 12 at all. I have an RMA number so ill whip it out on sunday.

found out that they have a +-5% tolerance on the PSU, so according to that all is good! Must be memory then :( I should be worring if I drop to below 11.4v
