Hi guys,
I'm running a 2tb hd and a SSD. My OS is on the SSD and the HD is used for games etc.
90% of the time everything is fine but occasionaly I'll get booted from a game with the typical "Windows has encountered a problem" notification box. When this happens the Intel Rapid storage icon in the taskbar shows the little blue circle that normally only shows on boot up - that it's loading/checking the drives if you like.
When I click it the HD isn't shown as being present, just the SSD? My games also get greyed out in Steam as if they are bought but not installed which to me shows that the drive isn't being found.
I need to reboot and let the OS sit for a minute or two then it "finds" the HD and everything is normal again.
Any thoughts?
