2x16 GB DDR4 GSKILL 3000mhz XMP
Seasonic Tx-850 Ultra Titanium
Gigabyte Rtx 3090 Gaming stock
Aorus Z490 Pro Gaming

Hi. I am gettin weird random fps drops. When playing i have 85-100fps.but when i am running or riding horse or in car,my fps drops for second to 60 and back again to 85fps. Is this because i have poor cpu? I dont see that issue on some youtube gameplays. Thanks.

My system is clean. Windows 10. Nothing OC. Using all ultra,1440P,RT ON both.

It's likely to be frametime spikes due to asset, texture streaming, shader compilation or some other io related feature.

Unfortunately some game engines suffer from them regardless of how powerful your pc is.

I get frametime spikes in Borderlands 3 and that's on arguably some of the best components you can buy (5950x, 3090, 4000Mhz ram at cas 16 etc) It's the game engine.

dont waste your time, just look at his post history and its nothing but non errors on every game he plays

Halo infinite now all of a sudden has issues with vram..... Man some people really are desperate

That has also been debunked. In fact didn't some sites show that the 3080 was better than the 6800xt when there was action going on and the 6800xt did better in empty/quiet areas? Then we had the amd fans crying to HU about not testing the same empty area as other sites or something iirc?

Might have to go digging out posts :D

In fact I still have the game installed, might have to record some footage now.

Oh boy, Halo Infinite boys, let's take this to the appropriate thread.

4K max settings with the HD Texture pack. Show us a flat frame time graph Nexus, and make that overlay bigger! :D

It was already done to death in the last thread TBF, think I did upload a few comparisons including rebar. Speaking of that thread, it went very quiet since showing the 3090 having frame latency issues (especially in godfall) even compared to my 3080 as well as your 6900xt not rendering textures nor colours correctly... ;)
