Hey guys, got a problem to sort out.

Recently changed mobo to a Z77X-UD3H from a Z68X-UD4-B3, which was giving me a few BIOS issues when overclocking, and didn't reinstall Windows. I wasn't planning to until after my exams are over in a month or so. However I keep getting random crashes, mainly under stress or gaming (not helpful for programming OpenGL for uni  ), and was HOPING that I just need to reinstall windows. I am doing that now, but, could this be something else (PSU perhaps? OCZ ZX Series 1000W, nearly 2 years old) that needs looking at?? Got a picture here of my Event Viewer, if that can shed any light.

Again I'm hoping a reinstall will do it - played a bit of Starcraft this evening and that has caused these crashes in quick succession.

kernel power just means its shut down unexpectedly,it doesn't explain what the problem is

if its crashing in games or under load then the oc isn't stable, you might need a touch more dvid(cpu offset voltage) or one/two clciks more than stock 1.05v cpu/vtt for the memory controller

tbh 1.44v seems a lot for 4.5ghz

Yep I tried running at stock, didn't make a difference, and my sig needs updating actually it isn't that anymore :p I'll adjust the clocks after I've reinstalled Windows, I'm hoping that'll fix it.

I didn't think the event viewer would help if i'm honest, was worth a try though.
