Hi guys just bought my first apartment. Bought it as a repossesion and therefore cant ask anyone about this. I have an economy 7 heating system in there and a random heating control

I cant make head or tail of this. I assume i have to set the time for the boiler to come on overnight when the electricity is cheap but the dial has only 1 setting on so therefore I don't know when it goes on and off. in the top left hand corner it says "set to GMT" The dial does not go around by itself though like its a clock or anything.
Can anyone help?

To me it looks like you set the dial to what time it is. I assume then overnight during the offpeak power times it powers up the power circuit to the heaters and these power up depending on the settings of their controls.

Yeh that's how I read it but for that to work I would assume the dial would have to turn throughout the day like a clock so as to always be the right time but it doesn't do this.

If it's bust then you could always get a new one fitted, about £50 plus fitting (unless you have a mate who's a registered sparky)

thanks for the help guys think i have the jist of it now. Because the electricity supply was off when i moved in i have to reset the clock using the method in the instructions. Wish me luck!
