Random IE8 questions...!

1) What is the highlighted bit in the URL part of the browser? At the moment overclockers.co.uk is black and the rest is coloured in grey...

2) Facebook. Something about cookies. How do i fix it? I tried to override it with the 1st and 3rd party cookies on Internet Options but hasn't worked.

Bleh, didn't work and after googling for ideas, all of them failed to make a difference...back on IE7, thanks though.
