Random Knowledge / Facts

Please shut up platinium87 like others have said your RUINING a good thread.

i dont understand how, its not me thats insulting in this thread or saying people are stupid

So where did the 2.6c bit come from? In the shining light example, the answer is still 2c.

well i originally said 1.2 (just a random number bit higher than 1c) but when i realised the whole light in opposite directions explanation i increased the speed over 2c, 2.6 was just a random number greater then 2

No but youve pretty much derailed it which is as bad as those other 2 things - please dont attempt to plead innocence - its quite obvious...

Please if you need to continue the conversation create your own thread, or get a fellowship...

Because you're arguing over something which is, quite frankly, pointless. Take it to e-mail or msn.

fair enough, answered anyway

If you can't work out what it means, then you probably shouldn't join in.

:)
I didn't say I can't work out what it means. Indeed I stated that it hadn't been defined 'except through inference'. I know what it means, both of the parties debating seem to know what it means, but that does not take away from the fact that it is terrible practice to rely in a debate on a term that you have left undefined (except through convention).

Sue me.

all i wanted was some random facts that can be used down at the pub and what i got in return is some random gibberish about light :(

It depends if the random facts are actually true. Or whether you want to start an argument down the pub, rather than on an internet forum.

:)

Does it really matter? It's not exactly ambiguous is it?

The gattling gun on a A10 is so powerful that during continious firing it generates more reverse force that the engines do forward thrust

Arsenal are the only English based team to play an entirely foriegn starting 11 in the Champions League

Chelsea have done it before hand, 5 years earlier.

The whole Wenger/foreign players thing is boring. It just became a lame excuse to bitch, moan and blame the national side's failings on a Frenchman rather than acknowledge other more pressing issues.

Edit - may have been UEFA cup, but Europe nevertheless.
