yea your right. it came out my apple g4 powerbook after a failure, so i think its worth getting a new one and binning the old!

i havent been involved in the thread purely because i have been taking my time with mgs4 not spending huge amounts of time on it and savoring the experience.

Without turning this into a battle... I've read through the MGS4 thread, and you havent posted in there much. And on that note, Just wondered if you have the game or have played the game?

Yes I do and yes I have .
I haven't completed it and people here have a habbit of spoiling things, so I stay well clear. I did the same with GTA4 (after it was out) and Bioshock as well. .

1. whats the next big game to get a release now mgs has dropped - Little Big Planet

2. do you think they will improve alone in the dark (controls mainly) as its a good three months out for release despite an earlier 360 launch - It will probably end up identical

3. is mgs4 the finest piece of work ever, a bit over-hyped or fun for newcomers to the franchise - Probably the best game I have ever played, and probably the only game that has lived up to the massive hype it got before release. (don't listen to Nokkon he is still on Act1 )

4. is the 40gb version an ATA hdd interface - SATA 2.5" Laptop HDD

5. how do you put media, pics, vids etc onto the ps3 in a format acceptable (40gb version) - PS3 will usually just play/show whatever format you throw at it, use a USB pen, External Drive or over a network.

6. can the ps3 see apple OS wireless servers, AAC stored audio files - I believe you can get software to do this, can't remember the name of it.

7. is the ps2 compatability of the 60gb version better than owning an actual ps2 unit in terms of gfx and loading times or the opposite - You'd be better off with a proper PS2, some games don't work 100% - having said that they do look better upscalled on the PS3.

8. is there a decent GITS franchise game in dev - Not heard of one

In ways, yes. Has upscaling and virtual memory card.
