How about a thread full of random questions, I've got an odd question that I've just thought of,

At work we have a video camera that watches the street, at the moment I'm looking at the colour monitor and for some reason the brake lights on every single bus flicker as if they are flashing, it only happens on buses, why!?

I'm going to guess that the brake light flickers to add extra attention to the bus and the fact it's about to turn. So and extra safty/warning measure if you like.

Might it be to do with most buses using LED brakelights nowadays as opposed to conventional bulbs

/edit: I have no idea why it might, just trying to think how bus' differ from cars'

yeh but it didn't brake lol

I bet it didnt indercate either :p

What is your job? Shouldnt you be working or is this actually what you do? :)

It could possibly be a strobe effect - TV is 25fps (iirc), and LEDs can be a multitude of frequencies.

Add the effect of striplighting, waving your fingers in front of your face, looking through a slatted fence and a zoetrope, and you wil invariably have a fit and swallow your tongue.

100% FACT.

I've got a new random question people.

Someone please tell me why we had paper delivered that is a whole 6mm wider in width than standard A4, what is the point in even manufacturing paper that size? it's just stupid because it doesn't fit in the printers lol
