America uses 216×279 mm, everyone else uses 210×297

A4 is A4, wherever you go (ISO 216 stipulates this) - The US merely have a different size of standard paper, known as Letter.

PP is of course, correct, SS ordered Letter, not A4, and should hang his head in shame.

what you have ordered there is Legal Paper :)
