Hey,

Listening to XFM radion in the office, there "XU" show or w/e its called. I think ive heard the same 3 songs 5 times this morning already and its getting on my nerves!!! I know i know, jsut change the radio station right? I would but I dont get that call when theres 60 odd people in the same room! local radio is poor at this time of day as it has more adverts than.... something which has a lot of adverts? i dno. thanks for reading this well... quite pointless thread.
 
Radio 1.

You need it in your life.

It suffers from a similar problem (though not as bad as you describe) of course, but has far better presenters.
 
Radio 2 is by far the best Radio station on at the moment, Radio 1 is pap, Moyles is a fat waste of blood and organs, Whiley doesn't know good music if it came up and hit her in the chops with a herring, the two planks first thing in the afternoon are not a patch on Mark and Lard and Mills is an idiot. Plus they play crappy dance music and nothing worth listening to.

Where as R2 has a quality line up, plays decent music all the time, and is funny as hell!

It is like what Radio 1 was when I were a lad ;)
 
Talksport is the only radio station I listen too. Everything else seems to churn out the same commercial pop crap that I hate with a passion, there's not one station that caters to my musical taste at all!
 
Another vote for Radio 2 - apart from the minority shows they have like the obscure '60s music one that's on before Jonathon Ross.

That truly shows how long it has been since you listened. First off there is no pair first in the afternoons any more, it is Edith on her own and has been for a while.

It isn't R1's fault you've got old :)
 
There are no longer any decent stations on the wireless, they all died years ago.

The only time I listen to the wireless now is when I'm back home and have the luxuries of RTÉ RnaG and BBC Radio Ulster and RTÉ Lyric. Even they can become tedious now :(
