Random restarts.

Hmm, well i am not overclocking anything and my psu is as sig. Maybe disconnect all power and reconnect to make sure all connections are ok?

I dunno, this is doing my head in now, seems very sporadic, does not do it for ages (as in not every half hour, maybe once or twice a night!) I think it may be worth just removing kit and replacing making sure everything is secure etc, that way i'm sure its not something silly. If it continues after that i think the psu replacement may be my first port of call. Is there any software that could monitor my rails etc? possibly record any glitches?

Heat, well bios says 38 and ntuner (came with mb) says 36-38, so pretty sure its not that. May look at getting a gpu monitor, whats the best these days, not used one in a while, think ati tuner has a temp monitor yeah?....

Sorry rambling now, all i can say is that atleast my macbook pro is nice and solid :p

Cheers

Just as an update, i had contacted Seasonic to ask them the best way to test my psu and to see if they had any solutions to my recent issues. Here is the response and i must say it was a quick one (within 24hrs)

Hi Andy,

Many of the DFI board have +5VSB start up surge of over the Intel specification of which our power supply reads as a faulty mainboard and therefore can cause restart and boot problems.

We have customers who have returned their boards to DFi for an upgrade and then problem solved and therefore I suggest that you contact DFI and have it upgraded to one of their newer boards.

Has anyone had any expirence of this and does it sound right? To me they are saying that there psu's done work well with my board?

Cheers

I have been having bsods lately too the only thing i can think of that has changed lately on my pc is the new intel chipset drivers and i am leaning towards those now

what i always do when it gets like this run memtest trying to figure out bsods is like rocket science then I reinstall the OS if it's still happening after that then I have no idea.
