Random Shut down/Sleep mode

I've had this issue for a little while now and its getting rather annoying. My computer will go into a sleep like mode (screen goes black, input unresponsive but the power light is blinking and the fans continue to run), and the only way for me to get out of this is to switch the machine off at the power supply. It mainly seems to happen when I go onto a game or my computer has been on for a long time, though gaming seems to cause it to happen sooner.

I used to have a similar issue where my machine would restart fully but I realised my CPU was running at 70 degrees or more and got some watercooling and it just seemed to change the issue. I'm a little worried the watercooling may be screwed on too tight as there seems to be a bit of warping on the motherboard around the CPU.

and finally, I checked the event log after one of these problems and the critical list had 'kernel power' in there. I don't mind buying a new PSU if that's the problem but I don't wanna do so if theres another fix. radeon drivers have this Wattman thing in now, and I never had these issues before I noticed it has this, I don't know if this could be doing anything as I know it messes with power levels but I don't really know how to stop it doing so.

Anyway, sorry about the huge description of the problem, I figured the more info the better, even if I waffled on a bit :P. If anyone has any ideas about this and/or want some more specific information to help, then please say, I would appreciate it a ton!

It already is turned off, I turned that off ages ago, I double checked though, so I don't think it is the system intentionally going to sleep, after looking up the 'kernel-power 41' error code it seems that the computer is interrupted and shut down without given a chance to do so safely. Which is why I think it is probably a power supply issue

I have added more hardware since getting the machine, initially a couple extra fans, then another hdd, then ram, then a blu ray drive and then I replaced some fans with watercooling. I think I may have already self diagnosed it as a PSU issue but I was hoping to get some form of confirmation because I don't wanna buy some new hardware if its just not going to help

turns out it was the PSU, I had an antec and I was told they arent the most reliable, I dont know for sure but I replaced it with a new one (seasonic x series) and it works great
