this one has me scratching my head, every so often pc shuts down with all fans spinning furiously, 99% of time I'm playing iracing or loading into game, sometimes game fully loaded, sometimes not, when get back to windows and try loading into iracing it does it again, generally 3 times before settling down, obviously thermals all fine, but sometimes adrenalin says driver error, other times no driver errors, has happened odd occasion when only on desktop, so cant see how its gpu related as play iracing for hours with no issues, actually only few times its actually crashed playing the game , plus same happens on RDR2 same issue. its sort of once a week thing.
could this be psu related?, i have SuperNOVA 750 G2, 80+ GOLD, the requirements is 750w for my 9070xt reaper.
cheers

Only 3yrs. Cables not daisy chained, may be time to look to upgrading.
Oh wow so not long at all. Hmm. I thought you might of said three times that. But yes usually (not always) black screens, spinning fans, or looping audio and desktop crashing are signs of PSU.

How are other things in the rig? Anything overclocked? Memory set to EXPO for example.

Have you done driver reinstalls, bios updates, windows and chipset, etc.

The more we can rule out the better.

yeah, gone through processes, bios updated , driver/chipset reinstalls, only think of is power spikes possibly as i believe my psu is right on minimum for requirements, 850w is recommended.

google
A 750W 80+ Gold PSU is generally considered good enough for a standard AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT setup, meeting the official requirement. However, for better stability, higher-end CPUs, or to handle potential power spikes, 850W is recommended as a safer option.

It would never hurt to replace with a newer PSU. They are one thing that when upgraded give you 10 years of piece of mind. The silent heroes of the PC rig. :)
