random skype messges

A while ago i had some random person skype me and they seemed to now an awful lot about me, Recently after that i had my ebay account hijacked . I dont remember finding any keyloggers or trojans afterwords but anyway (i have formatted multiple times since this),, Every now and then i seem to get random messages from users not on my contact list.

My question is . Is it possible just by replying in skype to a random message that my ip amongst other things could be logged and used as a vulnerability into my system?

I'm not sure about your question but every now and then I get a random chat popup to some bird wanting HOT chat. I just close it and don't bother. If you wanted to you can restrict Skype messages and calls to those only in your contacts list.
