Hello there :D
Basically i got a bit of an issue where my SSD isn't recognized when i first boot up my PC. I have to go through the start-up repair option every time even though my SSD contains the boot. As soon as iv'e gone through the generic start-up repair it's fine until next boot, i just don't understand how it doesn't even show up in bios as connected at all but as soon as i repair boot it's fine :S

SSD: Crucial M4 128GB

If other information is needed i will post but just seems more of a random general thing other than hardware specific.

Please halp!

Have you tried plugging it into a different sata connection on your mobo. You may have to update the bios for your mobo too. See if that helps.

Are you using the ssd as your boot drive, if so did you set t up in the bios as ahci before you installed your
os if not this may cause some issues.

Try taking it out of you pc and putting it in another one and see if it works and use crystalmark ssd to check out your ssd and firmware and make sure the fimware is upto date.

Hope this should help.
