It took me 1 hr 45 minutes to get to the air filter on my GSXR1100, 1 minute to replace it then 1 hour 45 minutes to rebuild :(

stat on the S4 is a cambelt off job

front cross member is removed to "service position", then you have access the the front of the block itself, then you start stipping it back until you have the cambelt off then you can get to the stat and water pump

Jesus christ, thank god British cars are built like **** and are easy to take apart :p

To take a gearbox off, all I had to do was ditch one driveshaft, the airbox and battery, then take out 8 bolts and it practically fell off.

Bumper off to change a bulb? Madness

Getting the bumper off a Metro with the front passenger side suspension collapsed is difficult but not impossible without a jack and the alternator on the Punto is dead easy (had to take it off whilst fixing the not so easy, without something decent to hold the engine up, clutch)

Changing the head unit on an Accord.....not as quick and easy as you'd think!

On an E46 however, easy as pie :D

Still annoys me how on Subarus you need to remove the battery and washer bottle to change 2 of the spark plugs. Not sure how you get at the two on the other side.

unplug maf sensor,
undo jubillee clip on intake pipe
unclip lid of airbox and lift off
undo two bolts hold air box base in and lift out.

Access to plugs has been granted. :D

Toyota is probably the worst car for over doing the design of holding things together.
Brackets to hold brackets to hold brackets to hold the thing you wanted to get at !
Flippin hate working on toyotas
