While I don't agree using something like that, I don't think it is a cheat. Is it not possible to press that quickly? It's not a software mod into the game, 3rd party pads for Mega Drive and SNES used to have rapidfire buttons on them too and no one complained. And I don't see how anyone can tell you are using that gun unless they can see what you are seeing, all they can tell is you shooting rather quickly and then assume you have a uzi or something.

Well, you got killed by my "uzi"

One can physically tap the trigger *that* fast but it is not physically possible to do it whilst still aiming / sweeping with the cross hair unless you've got some hair trigger on your controller...

Mega Drive / SNES did use to have rapid trigger because it came with it and you don't play "SNES" Live competitively, using that controller gives the user a significant upper hand esp in Ranked matches. But as people have said, it i next to useless for Halo, so I'm not fussed

The kill cam shows exactly what gun they are using, sometimes if I think i've died in harsh circumstances I will watch the replay and check out which weapon I was killed with.
