You're also on BT/Virgin/Sky I bet. Change to a decent ISP

Or you're on O2 Home Access.

Use RS2IP website to convert the Rapidshare URL into an IP URL, then use InternetDownloadManager to download from that URL.
Will bypass the TrafficManagement (works for me on O2 anyway, 10kb/s -> 800kb/s).

BT have no such restrictions. I don't understand why everyone says so much against them.

I left BT when I couldn't download from anywhere at more than 5kbps day and night after many years without problems. All I could ever get out of BT was that they new what the problem was but wouldn't say what it was.

O2 Home Access now (the last month or so) class Rapidshare as P2P and so restrict it heavily, just like they do all P2P stuff.

I noticed the restriction a couple of weeks ago, although saying that it was the first time I'd tried Rapidshare in a number of months.

There's a fair amount of info over on the O2 forums about this and other Home Access problems.

there is a thread here on the O2 Forums about the issue you are experience, I too was with O2 Access and thankfully got out of it on the 30day happiness trial they offer. awful service.

The way Rapidshare is going I think their days are over. :(

They've changed a lot of rules lately and sooo many peeps are leaving them.
